What rpm do 2.4 N/A DOHC Neons shift at?

Automatic of course, what is the engine redline set and if anyone has done full throttle auto upshifts, what does it shift at?

I don't think Neons came with 2.4Ls (besides the SRT4). Only 2.0s.

The redline on the tach of a DOHC 2.0 is 7K. I think the rev limiter is at 7200 (I think). I know when you get the Mopar computer, it bumps the rev limiter to 7800.
The SOHC 2.0s is (I think) 6500.

my wifes neon shifts from 1-2 at 6000 or a little over, 2-3 at less than 6000, around 5800. its terrible. dohc atx

Is that auto or you holding it in gear, IE 2nd and manually upshift?

Don't use the Neon gov if you plan to crank the line pressure. With the stock PR spring all the way up, it shifts at about 7000. Or just barely below the rev limiter. Use the *2.5* TBI small weight with the turbo big weight and spring and you'll have the adjustability you need. Take it from someone who's been *playing* with these trans since 1994.....

I am turning it down and doing the line pressure mod by Chad, that way, the governor isn't affected. Thanks for the info though,

The ATX Neons are limited to 6500 RPM, SOHC or DOHC. They didn't want the torque converter exploding I guess.
