Will a 1.25" Sway bar Fit an 86 Turbo Z K-frame?

Will the 1.25" Sway bar fit my 86 K Frame?
I need to order some Poly's for it and don't know if I should keep the stocker which is either a 1 1/16 or a 1 1/8 bar?

I have the 1.25" out of an 88 Shelby Z.

yes it'll fit. The 88 ShelbyZ has poly bushings in the center spots from the factory.

Okay, well the 88 has obliterated bushings left on the sway bar so I will be buying new.

Isn't your car a C/S? The 86 TurboZ C/S came with a 1 1/4" front bar instead of the 1 1/16 stock bar.

You can tell a 1-1/4" with out even measuring - it reduces at the a-arm area while the other sizes stay the same all the way through.

Oh okay well if it is already 1.25" then i am okay, but the bushings are still destroyed.

Get under there and take a look to be sure. AND when you do order the bushings, you'll need the measurement of the bar at the a-arm area, as it could be 1-1/16 or 1-1/8 inch.

Ya I will be buying them from you Johnny if you have them made up, along with a couple other things, like control arm bushings and a adj bob strut. I am going to look tonight when I get off work, I need to make up a new bracket for the bob strut because the 86 has the bracket on the k frame about almost 2 inches further east than on the 88 K frame (going to use 2 stock brackets and make 1 longer 1)

yes make sure. I saw an 86 C/S at the J-yard with the smaller front bar.
