Exclamation Disc Brake Authorities - Need help ID'ing

Replacing front pads on my Omni. It has been upgraded on the front - I assumed they were Daytona rotors/calipers.

I'm comparing these to a 1990 11" disc caliper, it is a little different and the pads don't swap back and forth - the 1990 pads are a little shorter (see pic below, '90 pad has red backing plate). Could these be minivan calipers/rotors?

Is the metal backing support plate the same dim's? It looks very close. If so it could just be for the same application but a different pad material shape/design.

Nope, it is about a 5mm difference.

Definitely different, the red pads don't fit on the calipers on the car, and the pads from the car don't fit on the 1990 calipers.

Re: Disc Brake Authorities - Need help ID'ing

IIRC back when we were doing stuff like that at PowerCurve it was common to use minivan rotors & calipers. Can't recall the year, but the setup for 14" wheels seems to stick in my mind. I know I ordered a number of sets in the 6 months I was there, but that was 10 years ago and I am a little fuzzy on the facts now.

1 guide pin = minivan caliper.

14" wheel Caravan brakes were the ticket. Just waiting to hear back from Carbotech on a custom set.

BTW the calipers from the Shadow had one guide pin also but, are definitely different.
