Car is stock, 176K on the odometer.... It was my son's 1st time going down the strip. He didn't fair too badly. 3rd pass was his best as he is still learning the car.

Yes, With a tired turbo.... We did have to cut the cat off due to it being completely clogged... So that should have picked up a few ponies, but still going through the original stock muffler through the 1 7/8" over the axle piping.
In reality, the clogged cat caused issues with the rings due to aforementioned leadfoot son still flogging it and causing internal pressure due to the poor car trying to get the exhaust gasses out and being unable to. Hopefully they were re-seated last night. Blew the dipstick out pass 1 then held well the rest of the night.
Check engine light came on after hot lapping... Codes 51 and 23.

Nice job for a 1st time! My first passes were in '87 CSX #252 and went like 16.80 the first time down the stripwas down to mid 15's... and runner up... by the end of the event tho

Congrats Brant! Nice times. I have only had my R/T out once and didn't get that good. 15.4's The driver couldn't get it out of the hole with the Pep Boys tires on it.Only partially tires though. I have been afraid to take it out again since I have put a new head on it and I now KNOW that it is timed correctly. Not really afraid of breaking something. More afraid of embarassing myself and all other R/T's.
