Time to replace or rebuilt the engine is the only real fix.
Use 80w90 and the engine will die within the week.
Turzbo, I thought you were asking about running the gear oil in the trans? Which is it?
both someone said runing gear oil will cut down on blow by and a am doing a rebuild
If you must, run 20w50 and let it warm up. DO NOT run diff oil or engine go boom. Find some "restore" at the parts stores, use the V8 size, I have had excellent results using it.
