The 255 is WAY too much for my stock setup, the pump has about about an hour tops of run time & has ZERO drive miles on it.
I'd liketo trade it for a stock L body turbo fuel pump, not used for a zillion miles either!

What do you mean it's way too much? Is your fuel pressure regulator not working? Is your 1/4 return line blocked? Are you trying to drop the pressure using an adjustable regulator? My GLH is using a 255 Walbro and it is working just fine.
There is no such thing as "L body turbo fuel pump". There are "L body turbo fuel pumps", I really doubt you'll find what you want.

Turbo L-bodies? All turbo l-bodies that i've come across have two pumps.
I think 85 and earlier had 2 pumps stock, and some 86s. Most 86s and all 87s had the single pump. Most two pump systems Ive seen have been converted over by dealers to a single in tank pump.

There is one pump in my car & I ran into this issue with my old Daytona.
I kept the stock injectors & even though the FPR worked I guess the 255 was "too much" for it & caused the same issue.
I solved it when I went to an AFPR.
I may have one that I took out of my car. I am not sure if it was from the one or two pump system. I will check for a part number when I get home.

I have a brand new Walbro replacement pump, standerd volume, standerd flow. Has been mounted in a assembly, but never ran.
They are the same as the p, h, k, g, ect pumps correct?
