A while back I learned about an older man about 30 miles from me with a bunch of cars, including several Rampages, but he didn't want to part with any of them. Now he's in poor health, and his family is trying to sell most of the cars, so I went over today to take a look. There are 6 Rampages and a turbo LeBaron convertible, along with at least a couple of dozen other cars of all kinds.
One of the Rampages looks like it could be in running condition. The others are more questionable. Mostly there doesn't seem to be a great deal of rust, all things considered. A couple of the Rampages have good bed frame rail thingies. One has a camper shell. One has the sliding rear window. One has a pretty good-looking sunroof.
The exterior of the LeBaron doesn't look bad, including the convertible top. I didn't see any holes in it at all. The interior is kind of rough, with cracked leather and some cracked and/or missing plastic.
I gather that they are asking $400-$500 each for these cars, and the ones they don't sell will be crushed. I don't know what the timeframe is for that. The cars are all in Carlyle, IL, near Rts. 50 and 127 in Southcentral IL. If anyone is interested, you can PM me for the contact name, address, and phone number.
