I would think Daytona cables would fit better. P body shifters are a little shorter than G bodies, not sure if they would reach enough in a spirit.
Just a suggestion, as G body cables are very common.
the cables in an A body car (Spirit Acclaim) are shorter or the same length as P body (Shadow Sundance). You can use the ones from a Daytona or Lebaron though. The shifter is close enough to a Daytona Lebaron or Shadow that you could use that too. The only thing thats really different on a Spirit is the pedal box.

im in Windsor, I have the A555 trans and some shifter cables from a shadow
the trans would great, only problem is that it does not downshift into 2nd gear. It has no problem going into 2nd from 1st tho...shifted real nice, I think possible bent shift fork or something??
i even have the 89 short throw shifter from a daytona shelby if intersted
ill take $150 for the trans and cables...im 5 minutes from the bridge!

any idea what other pedals with interchange with the spirit?
crap man I know of a spirit R/T in town thats going auto....but there would be no way I could get the pedal assembly for you by 2morrow...i havent even been able to get ahold of the guy myself......ill try to get ahold of him again 2day.
ill buy all his manual stuff from him if you get in touch with him
