    Nice looking cars.

The great thing about TC meets is that if you ever start leaking anything, there always enough adult diapers around you can soak up just about any size spill!

Re: 96 Valves of Pure Fury

Yeah, I'm not gonna try to say TC's are NOT an old folks cars, heck who else would spend $40K on one in 89-91. Obviously someone who had already made their $$ and was north of 50. Still, there were at least 20 original owners at the meet and they are old but some are pretty cool too In fact I met a guy who live only 20 miles from me and after talking to him for a while, he let on that he has a 'few wharehouses' for his cars. when I pressed him on how many, he wouldn't say but we did discuss probably 20 different cars he has Everything from Fieros (he only likes 87 GT's)

My TC flew home today at 75-85 MPH for 468mils and used 16.7 gallons of gas. That's over 28MPG and I crossed over 4000' of elevation.

Mine has the window sticker $39,600. Woodgrain and CD player being the only cost options. If you can believe it, the DOHC was a no-cost option

Why then, would anybody not opt for it? I still can't believe they put that smoker (3.0) in some of them.

From what perspective? The way the camshafts destroy themselves? Or maybe because the rocker arms are so doggone durable? It's fantastic when you have to pull the head to fix those swell coolant seeping spots, you know, back corner, casting plug cracks... And the TIII belts that sometimes last for HUNDREDS of miles. Good times too when the lifters separate into pieces and you have to reassemble them ! Yep, real Pwnage Josh

    All but one of them

White car is 175K+ miles, the other yellow one (tan top) is at about 100K, the red car and one Royal Cabernet at around 20K and about 50k for the Cabernet with rims.

Gonna try to repost that pic, resolution is really poor for some reason

Don't forget having to pull the motor or jack it way up in the air to get the cams out the side like a old V8. Oh and you can't run big lifts because the cams won't slide in if the lobes are too big. Maybe that's why the lobes wear off, so you can get the cams out easier
