    Battery relocation??

    I will be using a dry cell battery, can this be mounted inside the car like on the floor in the back seat??

    Yes, but NHRA rules say it has to be in an approved battery box, and you need a shut off outside the car, usually on the back.

    I put the shutoff in my GLHS trunk key hole. That way there are no real mods to the sheetmetal and I still have the electronic hatch poper.

    I am just using a marine by so hopefully they won't give me a hard time. I have an odyssey SLA battery with the metal case on it so hopefully that counts as the battery box rather than the marine box but it probably depends on the inspector.
