Best Place to Mount LC-1 unit and sensor?

I need to know the best place to mount the LC-1 Unit and where is the best probable spot to bring the wiring through the firewall. Looks like I will have to leave the LC-1 in the engine compartment and make a 3/8 to 1/2" hole in the firewall to run the wiring into the dash.

How far down from the stock O2 sensor should I weld the bung in on my downpipe too?

Anyone have any pictures of their install?

you can see the LC-1 in the pic, I just zip tie it to the tranny mount on the frame.

I bought a new grommet at the dealer since mine broke but just ran it threw a hole behind the carpet under the pedals.
