Need Help on replacing lower IC hose

    Hi,

Enjoyed 2 weeks of higher boost and spirited driving and now my lower intercooler hose as burst right where it connects with the Stock Intercooler.

I need help on the right way to replace it:

So far I have guessed two possible ways:

    1. Uninstall upper IC Hose, Airbox etc and try it from above

    2. Uninstall transmission and try it from the bottom

I am not sure, so perhaps you guys can point me in the right direction.

    As always, THANKS!!

I take everything apart from the top and use a 3 foot long screwdriver to tighten the clamp

id take it out from the top much easier. just remove the airbox to computer hose, take apart the air box, then unscrew the airbox from the intake-turbo hose, then ic pipe to tb, then intercooler(top) so it pulls out as one unit, then disconntec the intake hose to the turbo, might need a short screw driver for this one, i use a nut driver 5/16s then your good to go its right there

Taking out the transmission to remove a hose?

Let's see... 3 hours of labor vs 15 mins....

I'd take the 15 mins one.

    Hi, thanks first of all!!

I know, the trans option may sound funny. But I was serious. What I did not have mentioned (and obviously should have mentioned) in my initial post is that I have a clutch disk waiting as well, which does not urge, but if it would have resulted easier doing the job from the bottom side - then I would have considered taking down the trans and kill two birds at once.

Today looking at the thing from a daylight perspective I have decided to do it from above.

    Thanks, again!

He is? I are scared now. I still remember the email he sent me saying my name was "joe" and he knew where I lived and he was going to drive to my house and kill me.
