    cam curtain

Got my engine ready for my TBI cast cover and the rubber bumpers on the curtain broke. Do I actually have to have these? Can I use anything else to hold the curtain down?

I've never seen a cast TBI cover off, do you have to have the curtain? Could you just use the splash shield that attatches to the cam caps and is directly below the oil fill cap? If you need one of those, I have a few new ones.

Just use some silicone hose. Don't use regular hose, it will get rock hard and crumble fairly quickly.
