2.5 g-head 3-bar +40 cals...

Who all's running this kind of set-up and what has been your experience trying to set the cal up to run the car correctly? I'll have mine set-up within the next month and just want to know what to expect.

I could never get EGT's below 1700 when above 15 PSI. 15 or less I could muster 1600 with fuel right on and timing maxxed out according to the CEL flash on knock.
However, even with stock cast Mahle's I never melted a piston running as much as 28 PSI on pump 93!

On any cal I've had, even ones made for G head, I had to add TONS of timing advance. If you have D-cal, I'll send you the cal I was running. Mine was a 5 speed so you'll have to make some changes though. Just use it as a comparison file. PM me your email and I'll send it your way.
