Almost, it's from a Mexican TBI car... I have one its like a factory tubular header(that doesn't crack). The even flow better then a US equipped TBI manifold. Only downside is no o2 provision so you either have to drill and tap or relocate the o2 sensor about 3" from the flange(to have room to remove DP flange bolts).

I may soon, I have a new head that is getting to the *almost done* stage that I will be swapping into the car. If I can remember I will take several pics of it

Yes, but I'm assuming they are modifying them like was previously done with the US designed N/A manifold.

No.. its not. Its a completely different casting.

This is the standard TBI header..

This is the Mexican TBI header..

Re: Cast Iron Header Style Exhaust Manifold

Again, I fail to see the difference. One is a stock TBI n/a header/manifold, one is modified tbi header for a turbo?

I agree. I keep seeing that same picture posted but I can't tell what it is supposed to look like from that one angle.

But its still just a normally aspirated manifold that will have to be modified with a turbo flange to mount a turbo. The mexican part looks like it has the same style hook up for the exhaust system as any other 80's fwd Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth. Round with two bolts clamping them together. Please provide a good pic of the mexican piece if we are wrong. The pic you keep posting is worthless as a comparison pic.

Atleast there is 3 of us who get this

Like I said when I can get a better pic of the manifold I will. What is on my car is in a higher class then a US TBI manifold

Making this a turbo header seems difficult seeing how they are a ----- to get into the US, assuming you can(emissions are completely different there).

I will get the car on ramps today, not saying i'll have better pics but i'll try
