ON my merkur I am having a problem with boost, it will go to 13psi then slowly fall back, i've by passed the boost solenoid and am running a g-valve that worked before. Any thoughts??

could be bad turbo, leaky wastegate
Sounds like the wastegate. Those go bad all the time on those pesky fords.

That is what it was on my Merkur I owned many years ago. They go bad all the time and are easily replaceable. You can get a new one from Rapido or BAT inc.
