is the J body lebaron 88 sway bar different then the 89 from a Z. I was told that the 89 were bigger but is that front or back. If so would it be a bolt on to my car. i wouldnt mind a better handling car HAHAHa!!
Just wondering

It's possible, measure them both up. If the Z bar is indeed larger (front) it would be a bolt-on affair provided you use the bushings from the Z bar.
ya ima have to look into that
if your front bar necks down at the ends then you have the big bar. If you stick a finger between the rear brakes and the rear axle and the end of the bar that's welded into the rear axle is solid then you have the big bar. If it's hollow you have the wimpy bar. But in 89 they changed the bushings possibly. You want to find an 86-88 rear axle assembly with the solid rear bar.
does anyone have a picture? Because how fare is the neck suppose to hang out? How big is the Bar? and its hard to picture what my rear axles look like. What is suppose to be welded?

Bar on the bottom.
bangin!!! my car does have that bar. but what about the rears? i no you explained it to me but i cant tell whats what.
The bar inside the trailing axle can be solid or hollow. The solid one is the better one. You can feel the end of the bar, near where the brakes are bolted to the trailing axle. If the end has a hole it is the hollow one, if its solid, you have the better one.
