TU Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel for 16-valve Applications

We are currently having aluminum flywheels made for us for the 8-valve application. We are considering designing and building one for a 16-valve application as well. The factory crank trigger system would remain functional. How many of you would be interested in something like this? We will post a target price later on in this thread once we receive feedback from our machinist. Please vote and let us know if we should invest our R&D funds for this project.

Thanks in advance for your input,

These will be up on our site in the next couple of days. Same price as the 8-valve version.

Sure, now I'm tempted to keep the car off the road another month. Thanks.

Anything ever become of this? Or am I the only one out there willing to lay down the cash for one of these??

Also, will you be doing any testing to confirm this does indeed work with the stock crank trigger setup without any issue?

The catalog has had that 'custom aluminum flywheel' for quite a while. Is the TIII version ready to ship though? If so, there should be an option for specifying it for use with TIII in the catalog. No way will a regular 8v flywheel work.

Oops. Looks like I had posted that once before. I'd recommend just calling Chris.
