Windshield wiper arms/transmissions keep popping off the wiper motor

This is in an 89 caravan. The original nylon or whatever bushing fell apart on me and I replaced it with one of those HELP! kits that come with a bunch of different bushings that Advanced sells. Two of the bushings it came with were the correct ones and I mangled the first trying to install it with the arms still in the car. For the second bushing I pulled the arms/transmissions out and I thought did it correctly but they keep popping off the motor. It just doesn't seem to have a very good connection. Just wondering if anybody sells better bushings Dodge maybe? or if I just need to try another HELP! set?

Well since somebody bumped this

My problem was I just wasn't pushing them together far enough. I put them in a vice and squeezed them together good and haven't had any more problems.

she probably sells the 3799089 mopar, i used to keep them in stock as they fit everything from trucks, to vans, to rwd cars, im talking back to the 70s
