Its so simple it is brillant!! Makes sense(in my anxiety, panic attacked, depressed mind) to put the air intake and pcv on seperate ports. I suppose oil could still be blown out the intake port, but the pcv should close under boost to eliminate this(in theory). Not to mention the tbi shield. As stated, it seems to work great!
    Tryingbe, great info...thanks.

I also have a spare stamp steel multi piece gasket valve cover and oil splash guard, $15 + shipping if anybody wants it. Needs paint to look good.

There is a cast TBI valve cover in my garage sale page if anyone needs one.

I don't have the baffle but I think it is the same as the stamped one anyway. There is also a cast VC at the local junkyard.

The old system, was able to apply a vacuum under the valve cover. With the oil whipped up, some of the vapors would still be drawn through the baffle. Even with the splash shield it will not change this much as Tryingbe already noticed. Going to the two nipples on the valve cover, prevents a vacuum from being applied to the valve cover, hence, stops it from drawing the oil vapors out. That is the reason why the filter is no longer oily.

Now, as soon as you say it - I see it. With Tryingbe's set up, the passenger side VC nipple, that is connected to a PCV and to the IM, will suck air from the inside of the VC, and then, via the driver's side VC nipple, from the air box. Problem - the air is sucked from the wrong side of the box. Hate to say it, but unfiltered air is sucked into the VC and then through the "curtained" area and across and into the PCV and into then into IM.
