Are you going 2.2 or 2.5L? And what is your HP goal? I usually say stage 2 for a 2.2 and stage 3 for a 2.5L, but it still depends on your mods and goals.

    2.2L just like you

and 375-400whp would be nice after tuning!
the stage 2 should do the trick...

Do NOT go stage III, unless its an all out race car, stage II will make all the power you need and have less lag,

    Re: turbo Q

yes the car will see some street use, and im also planning on autocrossing as well!! so sounds like stage 2 is the ticket for me.

im thinkin mid 20s in boost will get me there...and yes race gas is available...

I can get ultra94...but i heard that because there is 10% ethanol it creates more heat and knock so Shell 91 would be the next option....

its a 2.2L G head 5spd combo so I think I can get away with some decent boost and pump gas (for the street anyway)

    Re: turbo Q

With a proper cal the stage 3 will still spool decent, but if you autoX yeah I'd go stage 2.
Juggy are you running SMEC electronics? Since I also have a 2.2 G head I can get a real nice cal for you after I work all the bugs out of my own. I was just running a 2.5/g head and was spooling the stage 3 to 25 PSI by 3500 RPM. I'm guessing with a 2.2 it will be by ~3800 RPM, but the 2.5L ran out of steam around 6000 RPM and I'm hoping to take the 2.2 to 7K if not more with simon's S60 cam.

    Re: turbo Q

yeah I got the L body setup for SMEC electronics we were talking about cals b4 as I had the 2.5L G head combo on my CSX (well its stilll there...but not for long lol) but since my CSX is 87 you said u couldnt really help me out then. but yes I would definately be interested in a cal pending the one I have here doesnt work out too great for me. I need some IC piping, and the stuff to finish my battery relocation...other than that im just waiting on my trans ATB install, if all goes well hopefully its running in the next 3-4 weeks.

that S60 cam would be nice.....ill have to wait on one of them and just use the taft S3 cam I have for now....
