You mean it doesn't build boost fast?

It works great in my car. Of course, mines an auto.

You can actually play around with the spark cut patterns in MP Tune. But, it's not a simple explanation. What fraction are you using? I can make some suggestions on pattern values for you to try...

It kind of acts like coming up on a converter it starts out slow then builds up in boost and rpm until its about 4-500 rpm over what its set at and stays there. Im also not building as much boost as before. When I got the limiter working before it was after you had me change the pattern values, then you said you fixed that and it quit working right. It kind of just acts like someone pulled 2 spark plug wires instead of alternating. I can get a video if you would like.

Fixed it, I changed the pattern numbers like you had me do before. I know you sad you had fixed it the code, it just didn't seem right. Right now, comparing it to other limiters it sounds dead on and sounds to be "rotating" correctly. In this video, the limiter is set at 3500, max ign retard, and 5/7 cut. I think more retard would be nice (if possible).

I got mine shooting a 16" long blue flame out of my side exit exhuast with 12.5 degrees of timing and 3750 rpm. I forget the cut fraction, but I don't think I need more timing. I know EVOs with really aggressive ALS run 18-20 degrees of timing, and I don't need that, so I didn't try higher, but I think it could make it even nastier.

What do you mean by max retard? The anti lag timing is now an absolute measurement of the actual timing during staging; its not subtracted from the main timing. It replaces it. So, if you want a lot of popping, set it to a large negative number.

If you had it set to +16 deg, try -16 instead.

I didn't have mptune open and I had forgotten what the max negative number was. The slider is all the way to the left at -16.

Every time it pops or backfires you can watch the boost gauge jump up a little. I need to try adding a little fuel when staging to see if the boost comes up any more.

It was the basedatatable, I reduced every raw y number by 1.

I was just looking at a v19 cal and I can't find the fuel enrichment when staging, I thought you added that?

It didn't work right, so I just force it to use the WOT fuel table when staging...

Did you figure out how to get the IAT sensor to work right? I remember trying it and talking to you about it but I can't remember what the issue was.

Okay, so assuming I have the wiring for it, all I should have to do is plug it up and check the box to turn it on? I'd like to try it again now that I have the Lebaron going again.

    Re: Turbonator SMEC codebase

Found a problem with the switchable boost code. If you were trying to use switchable boost with T/SMEC, then it wasn't working right. If you had switchable boost disabled, it should have been OK (the bad code would have been bypassed).

I'll post the updated after tonight after I've looked it over a bit more.

Any chance these problems are the same issues the sbec has with the above settings?
