    Factory Daytona intercooler question

I'm going to be converting my 2.5L TI Daytona to TII status using a factory radiator/intercooler setup from a TII Shelby Daytona, and i was wondering if the lower intercooler hose will clear the auto transmission in my car? I know the L-bodies have space issues and i'm hoping the Daytona doesn't.

    Thanks

You may have to turn the cruise control bracket around backwards for clearance but other than that it's all good.

Brilliant! I have my cruise canister zip tied in spot right now. But turning the bracket around is a great idea. I feel like a moron because I didn't think of it myself, but am very glad I read this board!

When puttting that setup in a buddy's automatic 2.5 Lebaron he ended up using a 90deg fitting on one of the trans cooler line fittings for more clearance.

So one of the cooler lines on the transmission comes pretty close to the intercooler? ...this also reminds me that i have to buy a transmission cooler. I'm hoping the old A413 can handle 14lbs intercooled boost in my LandYaught.

Thanks guys! The cruise control was the one other thing i was going to ask about, but you allready got that covered without me even asking,

It's been about 7 or 8 years since I saw that car so I'm a little foggy. I don't remember if it was clearance with the intercooler or the lower intercooler hose, but one of them would have put the trans line in a near kinked position. A simple brass 90 fitting from the hardware store solved that problem.

My trans lines on my 88 T&C cleared fine, it was the cruise that was tight. I do have a TC cruise bracket that moves the cruise up and at a 45' angle, but I like it better with the stock bracket flipped around.
