Just bought a 89 lebaron convertible. aside from the suspension being completely worn out, you can feel a ton of body flex. anybody make sub frame connectors for these cars?

Not that I am aware of. Really if you replace the worn suspension bushings and make sure that the car is not rusted out that should take care of most of the problems. From there a couple of nice strut tower bars would help to stiffen things up quite a bit.
Replace your sway bar bushings, control arm bushings, rear trail arm bushings, upgrade to bigger sway bar, add a rear sway bar, replace the struts and shocks to Koni...

The frame is stiffened up via the tunnel that runs from front to rear on barons. On shadows its more obvious with some serious steel plate reinforcement on the sides. If you want to stiffen it up even more try getting some steel plate or tubing like rectangular or square stock to link the front and rear frame rails in the floor area. They are heavy stock and like cordes said, replacing the worn bushings is a must to start out with by far. Then look into stiffening things up otherwise it will ride like a Mack R model and you don't want that!
