    Damn rotaries...

Anyway, just awesome passes Brian! It really blows me away how well everything is holding up. It's a TM for goodness sakes and it appears you've had very few issues with destroying parts. If I may ask, what did you change with your trans. setup? Also, you're just on gasoline, no alcohol, right? Congrats again on backing up the 8 sec. pass.

Here is one GoPro video. Sorry, but I didn't have time to edit. This is the 8.95 run.....I didn't tighten the mount so the camera moves up when Brian grabs the brakes.

WOW!! Very nice! I wish the sound would have worked all the way through on the GoPro video.

I STILL wanna know what the reason is for having 2 tachs!?

Thanks Bryan, it does hold up pretty well. And it is on gas.

The trans got 2 upgrades. The first was to work on a solution to the rear clutch return spring unwinding at high RPM. I ditched the stock spring and machined a set of retainers that allow me to use up to 24 small compression springs. The benefit is twofold, the stock spring is retired and I am able to change the shift timing/piston return rate with a combo of more or less springs and rates. The second is a new kickdown apply piston, It uses dual sealing rings for less leakage. Nothing groundbreaking, just tweaks to fix goofy problems.

What an amazing job! Great runs. Gotta love Atco and all the rotaries! Those guys love those old Datsuns... LOL Atco was first track I raced at back in 88' and my father used to race there when he was teenager in his 74 SD Trans Am. Excellent job - and thanks for posting the videos! Awesome!

I almost fell back when recording those in car video's. ...luckily Brian reached over and helped me in between his 1st to 2nd shift, what a pal.
