New Paint, Have a few questions

My shelby charger was painted back in late october (black and silver). Its been sitting in the garage since then and some light dust has accumulated on it.

I've heard that a california duster works well, but i'm worried since it is a black car..(streaks, etc) anybody use one before?

Also i've heard this duster leaves a waxy substance behind after going over the car. Is that a bad thing?? I've heard that new paint has to "breathe" for a few months and shouldn't get wax, etc on it. Would I be okay using it, or should I find something that doesnt leave this waxy residue?

    thanks

If you're not planning on doing anything with it yet, I would just leave it alone. The paint will start to release solvents again and continue curing once it gets warm, so the longer it can sit undisturbed the more durable the finish will be when you try to go clean it. Then gently wash it like you normally would.
