Don't forget some of the 89 Lancer Shelby's were black.

Sadly, not original. The dealer painted it before original sale so lets just call it "Dealer optioned red" to be accurate as possible.
Here's one for the list 87 Shelby Lancer leather/5spd Local guy has the data plaque and still knows the private yards where its rests totally stripped

How about 1988 CSX Prototype x9 "shelby Birthday car" 1 of 1. Not a production car but certainly of of the most documented prototypes and recognizable.

The '83 Scamp GT's have to rank up there in rarity
What about the Turbo Reliant wagons?
I guess I've inadvertently picked up some rare TM's in my time.
My 87 SC is non-A/C
I've got the 1 of 289 `89 Lancer Shelby (both options of auto trans and power sunroof)
And I hear the `92 2.5 Turbo Spirit ES is fairly uncommon as well (~400 built?).
Also I remember checking that my old Shelby Z was quite rare with it's options of T-tops, cloth and no A/C. 3 things I looked for when I bought it but were actually a VERY rare combo.

I've had a '92 TI Spirit sitting in my yard for a while now...not mine...exGF, and she sold it. Fairly nice car...used to belong to a friend, then his dad.....
Someone on Cardomain listed it at 360 92 T1 Spirit ES'.
Dunno if thats considered rare or not

I'd say that is a rare number if its accurate.
Has anyone else tried contacting Chrysler about certain production numbers? I tried getting a breakdown on 90 Daytona Shelbys a year or two ago and after being led through a phoneline maze I never heard anything back from them.

If anyone could tell me, I would love all the info on my car; '89 LeBaron GTC coupe, 5 speed, Pewter color, dark brown(?) int, leather, sunroof, factory am/fm cd, pw, pl, power driver's seat.
With that said, it doesn't have the original motor or transmission and the previous owner shod the rear with R/T discs.
Thanks!
Tony
The '89 GTC should have had the 11" discs anyways....
I've seen a WOODY Turbo Reliant Wangon!!! That thing was COOL!!!!
