There is at least one that came from factory with a roll cage. It's been at one of our monthly so cal meetings a while back. I'm not sure why they did it or who owned it. Alan or one of the other so cal guys should remember. I think my bro-in-law(shelbypart) got some pics of it.

Also who could forget about the shelby vans. Unknown production number. I think the one my brother in law saw and got pics of had a dash plaque on it. I don't remember what number he said it had if he even made it out. Used to be right here in Temecula. He also saw another one on the freeway that was turned into a work car and was beat up and missing almost all the Shelby stuff.

There's also the 88' and 89' CSX proto's. Ithink there were like 5 or 6 of the 89's. Not positive.

Can't think of anything else off the top of my head right now. I might think of something else later.

    found this on http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2006...glhs-cool.html

There were rumored to be two GLHS-specific options: a roll cage and an oil cooler. I was once told that cars 001 (Shelby's personal car), 007, 008, 010, 047, and 048 had the rollbar; however, Bob Marsh (the individual in charge of production at Shelby Automobiles during this period) claimed in a recent interview that no rollbar was ever installed in any "production" car--only a couple PR cars. I do not know which cars, if any, featured the oil cooler. (NOTE: the cars were not built in numeric order!)

what about the 89 CS AGS code daytonas? I found one a while back and I think my research showed it was 1 of 260 some cars... Stripped as could be with the go fast goodies!

also... kinda off topic but how can you tell if your 89 csx is a wide tire recaro car? Mine is a recaro, and came with 225/50's on it but I dont know if its factory.

I have pictures of 6 of them, one of them in a J/Y, but only 5 of them on digital.

    Let me dig those up...

Ok, just in case someone says "They never made those!": more pictures.

The first one I saw was in the Junk Yard, and I took pictures of it with my old 35mm SLR, it was an '89 Maroon SE.

Then I saw these, all of them in about a year time span, back in like '04.

This one was a one owner with 63K on it, they bought it off the lot:

This one was a guy and his wife bought it several years ago from a car lot with 130k on it:

This one the guy bought it from a tow auction, put a trans in it, and drove the crap out of it, had 230K on it.

This one just happened to be at a Mopar show, guy was working the radio station tent, lol. Ouch, but he was still driving it, climbing in and out of the passenger side.

This one Colin Young found at an insurance auction, hit lightly in the front, and he fixed it, I think he also bought a second one, that I never saw. His friend's son wanted to pose next to it, lol.

What about the Lancer Shelby(NOT the numbered cars)? Dunno any production info on them, but there used to be a white one that was a few blocks from my house.

Also, the '89 TII LeBaron H-body cars...not many of those built either IIRC.

    Re: List the Rarest Turbo-Mopars...

I know there were low number silver/blue Shelby Chargers produced in 86 in addition to the a/c delete bracket garnett SC's in 87. Also, does someone have the exact production numbers on the Lancer Shelby's, as after seeing reaper's post. They are more rare than the Shelby Lancers if I'm not mistaken.

The long wheel based minis are kickarse, especially the engine work to yours Chuck!

What year and I'll add them to the original psot?

This thread will serve for addign more data to the Production Numbers part of the Knowledge center then in terms of further breakdowns and what not as I was unaware that part was already established in there.
