Deuce dodge
upside-down-face and myself all know spirit of boost and are friends with him. We rip on him all the time for being a panzy honda owner and this is the 2nd td that he has given up on. Guess he couldn't handle the power of a fast 4 banger so he is sticking with his craponda's
spirit of bost and brian and brent are all good top notch guys......
they are all friends of mine.
brent has $10,000.in his honda motor
spirit of boost has a new project for us to race (drooling)
brian has a civic he is building.....insane turbo but not a A or B motor..think it is an D.
these are all smart tuners in their own right.
now if only k-brgs would tune slowjasons heap for him he could run with us also
p.s. that omni right now is an 12.99 sec capable car........i know it n k-brgs knows it and slow jason knows it.
slowjason.......i will help you get your s-tow car into the 12.5"s if you give me a rust free charger shell.........
deuce
All i need is a pair of sticky tires and you'll be eating my dust. You need to be 11.99 or better to even be second best this year.
Time to put up or shut up. So whats hooker's new ride a Rickshaw?
told ya i need a sc body for me to be able to race....mine is rusted......if i can't race i might just cruise all summer.
we should hold a west michigan conference at a steak n shake ..........maybe by k-brgs????????
and welcome new omni owner to group.
deuce
let me know when dufus wild. maybe we should setup a west michigan td meet this weekend somewhere to bench race and wrench on something.
i offered that charger in the back to you for peanuts not my fault beggars are choosers.
you guys are crazy and i got a nice reliable honda civic its a 97 its got some stuff done but once i go threw the motor itl be even better.
awe man watch out for the 18 seconds of fury. hooker you should have your gf drive the car at the strip, it'd be 11 more seconds of fun than she's used to.
Jason,
Wanted a van real bad, but.... though tax time bringeth for some, for others it taketh away!lol Just want to get the Omni "smoothed out", we'll go from there.
Duece, Thanks for the warm welcome, I have owned probably 6-7 Shelby 2.2's but this one is the first real "hot rod"....we'll see, think I got a few guys in my corner that should get her runnin' good. regards, Steve
Hey guys , My muffler bearing went bad on my GLH and I dont know how to fix it...... Can someone please help me fix it this weekend. I have to get it going again ASAP!!!!
what Upside-down-face said is true.....
the technical part of his "quick fix" is that as the blinkerfluid flush penetrates the regrootenator valve it causes it to slip freely on the disconnyou shaft.
this is very common in TM'S
as a side note........honda's and kia's (same thing) are built with a solid regrootenator and don't use a floating disconnyou shaft. ......kind of like a kazoo.

There has got to be something in the water over in western Michigan

See here we go again. That statement is a perfect example of today's society. Society thinks that the Honda's and Suzuki's (also same thing) are made with a better regrootenator. Just because its solid does not mean its better. TM's regrootenator valve was actually made of a rare harden steel called molybdenum. So the durabilty is much much better then the Honda and Kia's. I will admit the only down fall to making the regrootenator out of harden steel is that you will need blinkerfluid to free it up from time to time. But the upside to all of this is that TM's can handle over 98 horsepower....So Deuce, Please get your facts right.
