    brake fluid resevoir question.

I was flushing my brake fluid today and realized again, how much I hate my solid black brake fluid reservoir. My question is, has anybody tried and successfully swapped a clear reservoir from say a '96 + Chrysler onto a 80's to early 90's master cylinder? I did a search and came up with nothing on this so if this question has come up in recent past I apologize. I always forget to check this out when I'm in the junk yard.

Also I have a 7/8 master cylinder, off of an '89 Chrysler Lebaron with disc brakes if it matters.

I'm using the m.c. off of the Lebaron to keep everything the same for the rear disc swap. On my m.c. it's stamped "7/8." 7/8 is aprox 22mm and 15/16 is aprox 24mm.

So you should be using the 24mm master cylinder. Its possible someone installed the smaller one not knowing the difference.

Oh, I'll have to find one then. I don't know if I still have the original from before the rear disc swap. So If I get the 24mm one, has anybody gotten a clear reservoir to work?

I could swear my master cylinder is "clear" well white/translucent on the '88 voyager.
