    Probe front engine mount

I'm helping a buddy do an engine swap on a '92 Probe with a 3.0 Vulcan/auto. The front mount is absolutely shot, and none of the parts stores seem to carry a replacement insert. Not even the dealers show them online. We may have found an Energy Suspension insert, but we need to call them in the morning to be sure. In case it's not, does anyone have a source?

Those 3.0 Probes are kind of an odd car, Ford 3.0 in a mazda chassis. I don't think any of the Mazdas ever used that ford engine, so it's probably not likely that they woudl have a mount for it.

Rockauto shows a mount for a 5spd version, but nothing for the auto.

Whittle something out of a chunk of wood. Better yet, just weld it solid.

Go to a store that has marine trailer parts, buy a poly bow stop V block and carve an insert out of that. (That's what some folks do for poly mounts who haven't got a pet Johnny for their make ) alternatively, fill the old one up with windshield adhesive. (RTV , silcone sealant etc is too soft)
