Another hard to find AN fitting

    Here we go again...

-6 male o-ring seal to 3/8 male npt.

This is the fitting needed to adapt TU fuel rail to TU regulator adapter. The TU fuel rail is -6 o-ring and the regulator adapter is 3/8 obviously. I'm not sure why but Chris didn't have any of these...anybody have any sources? I've hunted on the net all night!

try www.hardwareinc.net. If you have a AN or MS part # it will help. I'll try to find that fitting in one of my catalogues and get a part #. I've got a drawer full of those in Oklahoma, but I'm in Arizona right now. LOL

Uhhh? I have heard the term JIC before but I'm afraid your experience has got me on this one.

No, it's a male to male fitting. Imagine a male 3/8 npt thread and on the opposing side a -6 male thread without the flared AN seat at the end...and at the base of the AN thread (where the nut part of the fastener is) there is an o-ring.

I couldn't find one anywhere... Earl's doesn't even have that size combo listed on their website. I can try to check my catalog when I get home though.

Re: Another hard to find AN fitting

well AN and JIC are virtually identical

AN is Airforce / Navy thread and has mil spec requirements that typical JIC fittings don't meet.

AN stuff is typically better as its rated for aircraft use, JIC is typically what we use in industrial applications.

Re: Another hard to find AN fitting

Chris is going to hook me up with a different fuel rail that has npt threads on each end...that way all I will need is a simple 3/8 to 3/8 male npt fitting. Thanks for all the help guys
