Ummm....it fit in mine
EDIT: No grinding either.
Dude, I am doing this out of love, SEARCH!!!!
Its been covered a 100 times, an OBX will not fit without changing the mainshaft and ring gear. A real Quaife drops right in with no mods.

Searching for "OBX" and "A568" works too.
you need a 523 mainshaft and ring gear with the same gear ratio as your 568 and that with the OBX and you are good to go
so to make life easy i'm better off going with a 523 then?
Depend on what you're looking for.
at this point save money. i was in the understadment that an OBX will just drop in a stock 568. i'm not looking into making a hybrid trans or anything. if i cant do it in my gradge chances are i'm not willing to do it
With OBX, you'll have to take it part, install new washer, new bolts, and to install it with new bearing pressed in.
If you are not willing to do any of the above, next best thing is http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5583
It's not that i dont want to do the work. i'm capable of pulling a diff apart and putting a new one in. thats no big deal. i just dont want to pull apart the trans it's self. I've alredy got a cuple A555's and an A568. i'll have no problum getting an A523. i think the 523 is capable of taking my power expections and the motor is gonna be a 2.5l as well. so i think it'll be a pretty good set up with the 523.
I had an OBX in a 523 in my 'S for a while. No problems at all. What car is this going in?
I dont understand how it couldnt be done!! ive stuck a complete A568 trans with diff into a A543 case....didnt have to grind anything! so whats to stop someone from changing the ring gear on the diff, to work with the one for the transmission??
OBX into A568, just swap on the 3.85 ring gear.
So Im guessing my quaife that was purchased for the 568 trans, will not work in a hybrid setup, even if i changed the ring gear to work???
Because not all differential were created equal. They might LOOK alike but if you take the differential apart from the ring gear, you can see they're very different.
You can NOT bolt a A520/A543/A523 ring gear onto a A555/A568 differential. If some how, you made it happen, you'll be missing the bearing on the other side because the A555/A568 have the one bearing on the differential, the other on the ring gear.
