depends on the motor I guess. The 2.5 5spd I built idles at 20-21" the 2.2 Auto I just finished idles at 17-18 when not in gear, 15" in gear. Both are pretty much as stock as you can get.
I vote for you two being gazers.
I believe it's 15-18.
My engine will idle at 20", but it is not stock.
Does this mean stock as in the motor has not been overhauled, or stock as in not many power mods?

Stock cam, 22'' at 950 RPM idle if the cam timing is straight up. I have the timing a little retarded so right now it's 20-21''.
Edit- I have my calibration tweeked though for a nice smooth idle though, so not sure if that counts.
My old daytona also idled at 22'', stock cam also with a TU cal. But both of my cars were 18-20 bone stock.
Probably want stock turbo motor #s so won't vote, but last time I used a vacuum gauge on my 3.0 it was reading 28 inches at around 800 rpm. .... come to think of it that might have been with the blocked PCV valve though.
before it blew it was 18-19 inches

My idle is around 2000 rpms and I get about 14-15" Thats with the stock gauge though, we all know how accurate THAT is....
my old Daytona had about 17" at idle, almost stock. the scamp with the stock cam seemed to be around 18" in park, about 16" in gear idling hot, still working on getting it back together now. the Daytona had stock gauge and Scamp has autometer, i think i trust the autometer more.
Yeah stock gauge is completely inaccurate.
A bone stock car with compression up to spec, cam and ignition timing correct, proper idle speed, and a good tune-up will pull 18-20'' of vacuum at an idle in neutral. So I agree with Simon on this one.
Of course for you auto guys when you put it in gear the idle is suppose to drop to 800 RPM, so seeing 16-18'' is normal at that RPM. But with the proper 950 RPM in neutral, it should be 18-20 for a healthy engine.
2.5 CB Stock 12 degrees.
It reads about 16...........but the gage also reads 1 psi when the motor is off. So having said that there are some variances in the gages (stock). I get about 25 on decel.
My SRT and my ol' GLHS showed 18/19 vacuum.
1 psi is pretty much 2'' of vacuum. So you have more like 18 at idle.
Stock timing -12*
orig motor 2.2 non CB- 19" on the STOCK gauge and that's prob not right.
2nd motor 2.5 .020 over with fresh rebuild- 21" on aftermarket gauge

Yep, just idle, NOT in gear,

Hard to go by on the stock gauge I have, but it was right around 17"
This was on a VNT car with stock cam and settings. (actually, two vnt cars showed about 17" and I believe a friends T-II car was right around there as well.)
