2008 Mopars at the Strip (Las Vegas)

Anyone going this year? I know I have met a few of you guys over the years down there, just curious who is planning on being there this year? It is being held the last weekend of March. Hope to see some TM's there this year!

It is the 5th annual event... I was just looking at the dates this morning in a Mopar mag at Borders. I don't know yet, like to but have to look at it. Put me down for a solid maybe

Free ticket? Bring your son along! My dad is also ajudge, so we are there every year. I think I may even be dragging down my R/T this year depending if it runs well enough to take it down the track for a few test and tune runs. Somehow I am not getting my hopes up though. Its always a pretty good weekend though.

Haha, I would hope so. You're the crowd favoritee every year! I think the best I remember you running was a 11.99. Is that correct? Seems pretty awesome for a car with full interior and working A/C! I am definately bringing a video camera this year.

Just an update for those thinking of coming, they are considering having a judged front wheel drive class if enough people enter their cars. It seems to me that the TM guys that do show go there to race, so I figure it wont happen. But for those of you like me that dont have their car race ready, enter it!

I at a solid 99% I am going now, things are falling into place. I think I'll give the GLHS a break though and show up in the Rampage It has NEVER made a 1/4 mile pass, I asked the OO I bought it from and he wasn't into that kind of thing. Stock clutch feels fine but it has 20K and 15+years on it so I am debating swapping before then. Of course when you make changes before an event that's when you risk getting it 'not quite right' Decisions decisions...

Obviously no FWD show for the Rampage, it's UGLY on the outside. Fortunately it's ugly is only skin deep

Even if you were in Utah, our truck is packed already! I think we have five going down right now. I guess I could always pull my R/T off the trailer and drive it down there if I needed. But chances are it would break.
