What everyone is going to tell you is that your collector sucks. I say good stuff! Looks sweet. Great to see someone doing cool one-off stuff.
It seems like the people that talk a lot of 'S' about peoples stuff never build anything, take pictures , or provide any proof that there idea is any better. But I like input. I just build something and try it. I know some headers join the pipes in firing order in the collector. I want to try this. THANKS, BILL

I have a 90 degree 3" elbow that I'm going to weld to the blockoff plate on the turbine housing and join it up with the cars 3" system. THANKS, BILL

Is that piece of bar stock your turbo support? You’d be wise to add a joint to allow expansion but still provide support. Look for pics of warren header and how he supported it. It’s a true work of art.

that looks like a sweet piece....i am jealous i wish i had time to play with that type of stuff....one thing was thinking was did you ever look at doing a 4-2-1 instead of a 4-1 collector style.....i have always heard the 4-2-1 gives better scavenging but this was for sport bike motors maybe the 8v is different. I desgined and built the header we used on my colleges formula SAE car that was a 600cc honda motor one year was a turbo and another year was NA. Both years we used a 4-2-1 header. maybe ill see i can dig up some pics of it. it was easy to design because we had tons of room to work with in comparision to our cars.

I am changing almost everything. 2.2 cb 20 over,stock forged crank,K1 h-beam rods,wiseco forged pistons w/file fit rings,901 wrist pins,windage tray and crank scraper,Steve Menegon large valve ported swirl head with his custom cam grind,ported 2 piece w/52mm t body,the header w/external w. gate(38mm t. netics evolution),t3/t4 super 50 trim t. netics,spearco 1080 cfm intercooler,lonewolf performance fuel rail,+40 injectors,accufab afpr,walbro 255 pump,msd 6al w/2 step,t.u. kevlar clutch,568 w/quaife,wideband,other gauges,3" exhaust,suspension and brake upgrades. Other stuff will get done along the way. I am taking pictures and video of the project. THANKS, BILL
