97 Stratus 2.4, 420A heads, intakes, header, GLH block, DD MBC, etc. - pics!

I'm changing project directions, so I'm putting my 2.4 stuff up for sale.

    Up for sale is:
    - A 2.4 out of a '97 Stratus (dis-assembled but complete, minus head), had 97k on it when pulled - $150 obo
    - (3) 420a cylinder heads (that's the Eclipse/Avenger version of the DOHC Neon head); one of the heads is missing many of the cam caps - I was planning to use it for porting experimentation. All have valves/springs. - $75/ea for the good heads; - $25 for the one missing cam caps SOLD
    - ADDED: 420a valve cover (nearly the same as a Neon, but the spark plug holes are offset ~2mm due to the different head) - $25
    - 1 set of "PT" style cam followers (rockers) CORRECTION : There's only 14 of them - $25
    - 1 set of non-PT style lifters - $25 obo
    - 2 sets of stock cam gears - $10 obo
SOLD - Neon DOHC aluminum intake (unmolested, but dirty) - $35 obo
    - 420a Intake (also unmolested but dirty) - $35 obo
SOLD - Stratus intake cut to just the runners (make a good starting point for a custom intake) ; EDIT: also t-stat housing is cut for use with the 420a heads above - $10
    - a couple of 420a T-Stat housings - $10/ea
    - Brand new 2.4 oil pump - $40
    - Pacesetter 420a header - $50
    - 2 sets of 2.4 cams - $25/all
    - Neon 3-speed auto trans core to bolt up to the 2.4 (slips in 1st gear) w/torq converter - $25
    - Neon billet aluminum UDP - $20
    - 420a OBX Billet fuel rail (red) - $50 obo
    - ADDED: (2) Caravan 2.4 Alt brackets w/hardware; fits the TD alt if you drill out the lower mount on the alt and lines up with the Neon UDP listed above, $10/ea

Plus shipping on the individual parts.

I'll still take $400 for everything left - pickup only obvioulsy...

More info on the pump please. What brand? What style pump is it? Which generation motor?

It's the same as the original '97 Stratus pump, and it's a new Mopar part...

What size is the fuel rail? -10?

EDIT: also, got a pic of one of the heads? Do those flow opposite?

The fuel rail is setup to use the stock 420a fuel fittings, I think. Though, it does have threads on one end. Not sure the size, but it's at least -8, maybe -10. The other end looks like it's setup for the FPR and/or damper.

Pics added; It's identical to the older Neon DOHC head, but the intake/exhaust ports & cams are reversed front to back. The T-stat is in the same location, though, and uses a separate housing (since it's next to the exhaust, not the intake).

Do you already have the cal? Or do you need me to make one? I could probably do one, but I'm way behind on an LM/cal now. PM me what you need...

I'd need the -10 on both ends... sounds like a nice rail for the price tho!

Re: 97 Stratus 2.4, 420A heads, inakes, header, and Neon 31th trans...

    I'll take the following parts:

420a cylinder head; one of the heads is missing many of the cam caps $25 for the one missing cam caps
    - Stratus intake cut to just the runners (make a good starting point for a custom intake) - $10

Does PayPal work for you? If so, LMK the addy. As for shipping, I can email you a UPS label once I have the ship from address and the weights of the boxes. Then it's just a matter of giving it to the closest UPS driver.

    Thanks!

I left them as long as I could keeping as much of the straight section. I'd say 5-6", but the cuts aren't straight (hack saw). To put a plenum on there, you're probably looking at `4" of straight section. Also, I cut the t-stat housing off the intake, so this will work only with the 420a heads now...

Sounds good. See my EDIT above, though, about the Stratus intake and let me know if you still want it. That head, BTW, is the one in the pics above. It was the easiest to get off the shelf...

Cant it work w/ one of the T-stat housings on a neon head? Or if the housings are different then w/ a PT stat housing?

Also interested in the auto trans fwiw

Maybe, I think you only get 2 of the 3 bolts, though. I never tried when I had a "real" Neon head on the shelf.

Trans is all yours, if you want it...

That shouldn't be a big issue, I'll either use it with a 420 head or as a mock up for a sheet metal, either way it should be worth the $10.00. I've paypal'd the $$ to you just now.

I will need your address for the shipping label, they gotta know where it's coming from!

    Thanks!
