Normally, the Spring Fling car show in Van Nuys lacks 2.2 liter stuff in the swap meet area.

My friend, Herman Ochoa, tells me he will be bringing lots of stuff to sell, including parts for our 2.2 liter Mopars.

Some of you have met him as he's attended the car club meetings in the past.

Bump. 1st Thursday fell on the fist day of the month today, usually means it's easily missed. Heck I've even had members text me on the 2nd Thursday(the 7th) and ask where everybody is. So if you have the digits to other club members, reach out and remind them

24 years ago, on September 1993, hard core Shelby dodge folk converged to Carroll Shelby's Goodyear facility in Gardena, California.

It was put together by the now defunct Western Region Shelby Dodge Automobile Club out of Utah.

The Goodyear Tire portion has been moved to Las Vegas, NV, I believe.

The location in Gardena is now known as Shelby Los Angeles.

Here's 1 photo of some of the cars that people drove. Me and a friend drove the blue Shelby Charger.
