Not too bad for 'Middle of winter' February meeting, 14 members and all but a few showed up in TM's, heck, we even had a guy that hadn't been to a meeting in 15+ years! He hasn't changed a bit, still tells long boring stories about himself or his cars that no one wants to listen to or frankly even believes. Um huh, 409 WHP on an 8v with a stock Intercooler, riiiiiight... You might say he's our local kind of a big deal guy

I'm in, Im working at a hospital near Applebees so I rolled out in Woody today to hit a couple J-Yards this afternoon. Among other things I want some fresh seats for the Red 'Baron. As usual the passenger seat is perfect but the drivers side the old PO wore the sh!t out of it and 3 cleanings later it still smells like old people.

Theme eh, how about Single Malt I'm getting skinny for summer so no beer for me

Good idea, I've gone paleo so it's salad and zero carb single malt !

While you're at the yard . . . . see pics . . . if you can, keep an eye out for some OEM rubber or plastic intake snorkels in 90* bend and 3" or less ID (tubo inlet is 2.25" and the airbox outlet is 2.75"). I need one to connect the Masi's turbo inlet to an T1/T2 airbox (the silver topped one that came stock on a GLHT) that will sit beside that AWIC. I don't want that shiny silicone hose ricer look.

It's ALWAYS happening unless it's July 4th or January 1st. Those are the only holidays that throw a wench in our meet. *How* happening it is depends on weather and the will of the people. Hope for a warmish night as that seems to help the numbers. We had 14 last month but the meet had great energy

Weather is nice and warmish for November, low 60's tonight should be same tomorrow, There are a couple cars at my shop being prepped for a road race/rally in Mexico that Forza competes in every year so I'll be rolling up strait from there after some wrenching hours.

You get a pass, you rarely miss a meet. We only had 8-9 but the energy was good. I was gonna roll home at midnight with the top down( it was 57 degrees) but after a couple miles (and with 40 still to go) I raised the top and cruised in a nice warm cabin.

Glad I was able to show up and hang out with you.

Also glad the late arrivals, John and Boyd, managed to make it.

Yes, I was at the first meet in February 1994.

As we discussed about some vintage Shelby Dodge photos, I have a few.

I will put one up every so often.

This first one is from January 12(?), 1990.

It is Carroll Shelby's parking spot at Shelby Automobiles in Gardena, California. It says C. Shelby on the wall.

I was there to purchase a Centurian II wheel to replace the one I banged up on my Charger GLHS.

It was the first time I met the Parts Manager, Tim Pettijohn.

It was also when I was introduced to Carroll Shelby chili. They were giving the bags of mix away at the office.
