31TH can be built up "easy", same as A413

I guess I am talking about the neon auto. Is that the 420?

The motor is the 420A, if it's pre 99 it probably has a 31TH, if it's a 2nd gen it either has the 31TH 3 speed, or 41TE 4 speed.

A neon does not have a 420A, 420A's have forward facing exhaust ports.

Mitsubishi (DSM) Engine code: 2.0L DOHC = 420A
Mitsubishi (DSM) Engine code: 2.0L DOHC Turbo = 4G63
Chrysler Engine code: 2.0L DOHC = ECC
Chrysler Engine code: 2.0L SOHC = ECB
Chrysler Engine code: 2.0L SOHC Magnum = ECH
Chrysler Engine code: 2.4L DOHC N/A = EDZ
Chrysler Engine code: 2.4L DOHC Turbo = EDV/EDT

A 3 speed can hold that much power if built right. A 5 speed will hold but will likely sheer gears with flat shifting.
