One of the brackets came off the window. I know they are glued on, but with what? is it that foam 2 sided tape? or actual glue?
thanks,

From what I hear you could go either way.
Double-sided... Or some glue gooey substance.
But I haven't installed mine yet, so this could be all wrong

Be careful which double sided tape you get. Some of them dont hold worth a darn. The 3-m products seem to be of good quality
well what does the factory use?

I think it is the 3M double sided trim tape like badges and emblems are held on with.

I had to reinstall one of the brackets on my 88 and someone suggested using rearview mirror glue (you know those little kits you can get at autozone?). It worked perfectly.
