WTB: 2.2/2.5 turbo Oil distribution blocks

    All,

Hey I messed up my oil distribution block (the one that feeds the turbo oil and the senders).

I went to the yard but they had just crushed the TD section so it was all newer stuff and they didn't have any.

I want one to get the 8V engine running and one to get the 2.4 oil lines all setup on the stand incase I blow up the 8v engine.

I would like to get them sent out via priority mail so I have them for next weekend.

If someone has 2-3 of them that they would be willing to part with for a few bucks each plus shipping send me a PM and we can work something out. That way I save some gas and send someone in the group cash rather than the junkyard.

    Thanks,

    Rich

I would actually like to get atleast 2 from someone so we only have to pay for shipping once. Priority shipping would be $4.50.

I was hoping someone would do it for $15 shipped for 2-3 of them.

Of course they can also be traded as credit toward MSD wires.

I may have 2 ill have to check. I just could recall I had one. and credit is good, considering the complete engine bay has to be restored

    That fire sucks.

It is worse than my oil pressure mishap with all of the bearings in my last engine that required a rebuild after 25 miles.

Let me know I would like to get a couple of them for the weekend. They are NS1 from the dealer and my wife is tired of me going to the junkyard on the weekends.

Do you need the common block or non common block style? The threads got larger in 89 on the block.

Are you sure? I could have sworn that they are both 1/4 NPT on my 87 and 89 blocks... (I am probably wrong)

Either way I want the common block ones since my 8V engine is a common block and the SRT4 is even larger at 3/8 NPT.

    I'm all set now.

I did find about 4 different types of them at the yard though.

It must have been 86 or earlier before the change from 1/8 to 1/4 NPT though.

In case anyone runs in to the problem of not being able to find one with the right thread size, most hardware stores carry brass pipe bushings that will adapt from 1/4 to 1/8 NPT and vise versa.

I've been running a 1/4NPT to 1/8NPT brass bushing to adapt in my Laser since the T2 swap because I stripped one of the ports on the distro block.

Good tip. That is what I plan to do on the SRT4 block where it is 3/8NPT (bigger yet).
