    Crankshaft nose and sprocket?

Ok i just got my engine and crank (that he gave to me cause it is in perfect condition) And the crankshaft nose and sprocket is a different size? The sprocket just falls on that is how loose it is. What does that mean? I have a 2.5 liter common block and the block is out of a 89 dodge shadow turboed. I don't know what the other crank he gave me come out of but he said it looked the same but on closer inspection it obviously isnt. Is the smaller snout out of a 2.2 or something?

Thanks guys i will have to run down to his shop tommorow. Is there anyway to tell if it is a 2.5 or 2.2. Numbers perhaps?

Sounds like he gave you a non-cb crank. The cb crank and gear is a press fit.

You need a CB crank, thats your only cost effective solution.
