I think OhioRob Pachner was the first, and my Z may be the most recent but lets take a roll call to see how many total TM's are running out there with FULL motor swaps, and what their configurations are... so if you have one, please post up!

I'm not there yet, but a free Stratus with a running 2.4 is getting dropped off this week, hopefully a good donor for a Rampage? or who knows what I may put it in.

yup, I was the first to put a 2.4 in a tm. that was in the spring of 2003. blew that up the first time down the track, to much timing and to lean.

2.2 MP computer
and all the old tricks
I think i ran it like that for two years before fwd performance came up with a cal. that worked for me.

Ive been street driving and drag racing this setup for 3 years now its been fairly reliable and very consistant,any breakage was due to the car being to heavy and to much horsepower 3200 lbs.Its ran a best of 7.43@ 100 mph but that was being very easy on it out of the hole because I didnt want to break another transmission,12 psi through 1st gear and then 26 psi through the finish.Everything you see in this pic is being trans to an 87 csx I just recently bought,Im hoping the weight saving's will be easier on the drivetrain.Its a 1996 stratus motor,wiseco's,pauter billet rods,crane valvetrain with solid lifters,stainless steel valves,sc6152E turbo,sds em4f ecu,equal length header.

82 Rampage is now full 2.4 with a 3 spd auto from a neon. Using 4 mounts too.
05 short block 00 head NGC crank sensor and mega squirt.

Here's mine.

96 Dodge Neon 4-door

Motor: 03 PT turbo (SRT) with a 50 Trim turbo (.60 AR intake and .63 AR exhaust)

Trans: stock NV350 + ceterforce clutch

Running strictly on Megasquirt....nearly identical setup as dean's rampage. Megasquirt controlled boost as well using srt solenoids.

Still to come: 41TE trans and PT equal length driveshafts.

Best run so far 14.7 @ 103 MPH on 8psi........no tach and a missing shifter bushing.

Hmmm.....indeed. Need a better fuel system, and better way to put power to the ground. Still have a shot at having the first 10 second neon in Canada.
