'87 Shadow ES NO RUST

I've stripped the drivetrain, wiring harness, and a few other things from the car. The rear glass is broken, but there is NO RUST in the critical areas. The car had about 79k miles with a bad engine. Even the area around the e-brake cable is good. Floors, frame rails, everything is rust free. $50 you pick it up. I know I can take it 20 miles to the scrap yard and get twice that. I wanted to offer it to somebody that has a CSX or something of value to repair the rusted areas. Have title. Located in central PA.

Here you go. Both front fenders are dinged, and the rear hatch glass is shattered. The drivetrain is gone, as is the underhood wiring harness, shifter, and pedal assy. The floors and quarters are rust free, as is the underhood area. There was a repair done to the passenger's side quarter panel, but I think that was a ding repair and not rust repair.

It has a sunroof, PW, PDL, P mirrors, the interior could clean up to be about mint (the carpet isn't bad but not show quality). The leather wrapped steering wheel is dirty but not damaged.

Are you sure it's an 87? The seats appear to be the 88 up style ES units.

Looks like an 88, 87s had different seats and no wing at all.

Thanks for the pics Mike, I gotta think it over for a day or two, was really hoping to find an 87, but other than the interior the 88 is pretty much the same anyhow. Just gotta decide if it's worth the trip and where I would put it once I got it home.

Sorry for not getting back to you Mike, been trying to figure out if there is a good way to get it back home. I've got a truck and trailer but no time to make the trip, and no place to put once I get it here. While I'll probably regret it later I'm going to have to pass. Best of luck finding it a good home.

I have a rust free hatch with glass from 87 sundance I will give to whomever buys Mike's shadow. It is silver in color.
