86 GLH Turbo T2 (Michigan)
Well it's time to sell some toys. I'm Trying to get money for a house so I can quit blowing it on an apartment. So it's the GLH that has to go first. I'm currently installing the engine in the car but it should be done by the end of next week. The engine is one that i picked up from a guy locally. It's the original engine out of 86 GLHS #296. the only thing missing is the two piece intake. I have torn the engine completely down and I am installing all new rings, bearings, oil pump, gaskets and doing a quick cylinder wall clean up. The engine only had around 82k miles on it and there isn't even a lip at the top of the cylinder.
Here are the details on the car:
Car is solid, a little rot inside the wheel well but none on the floors.
Car is painted primer black with red interior. Grill is in tact and with no cracks. I relocated the front bumper so it sits back further.
Sunroof
Aftermarket Eneki wheels RS-6/lots of rubber on the front rears have less
Has the digital dash conversion done on it with A/F built in
Also this is the car that has the auxilary PTC heater installed that u can't find anywhere else. Here is the thread on it.
L-body Heater Upgrade
Factory non A/C car
87 T2 electronics with FWD Performance Trimcal
+40 injectors
3bar map
190lph fuel pump
Diesel NPR intercooler
TurboXS RFL BOV
A525 trans with A520 guts...This has taken 18psi with no problems.
Wiring harness has been pulled out and gone through to remove any problems.
4 wire o2
Interior is mint. No tears in any of the seats. Carpet cleans up good and no holse drilled throughout the dash. The only bad spot is of course the
headliner. I pulled it down so all that is left is the board.
All new rear wheel cylinders and brake lines leading to them.
Has newer parking brake cables that actually WORK!!!
I will sell the car with everything I have for it. Including:
2 86 blocks with cranks one has T2 internals except the forged crank.
4 T2 pistons
T2 Intercooler
T1 Turbo good for core.
Extra swingvalve
5 stock pizza wheels
extra set of all four doors with glass
Extra A525 trans shifts fine but 5th is a little sloppy
extra power steering pump
extra alternator
extra passanger side axel shaft assembly...int shaft and cv shaft
plus much more little odds and ends.

Re: FS: 86 GLH Turbo T2 (Michigan)
I am taking tomorrow off from work to finish the car.
So because i have this car on like four different forums, please send me an e-mail to glh_turbo22@yahoo.com. The first one to give me the full price or close to it gets the car.

Re: FS: 86 GLH Turbo T2 (Michigan)
Car is done...it runs and drives great. The only thing I didn't do was install the NPR intercooler. It required a lot more work than I could do with my limited budget and working conditions. Right now the car is running with the T2 intercooler hooked up, which will be fine to drive on until the NPR is installed. I will still include the NPR with the car and the fittings I have. If you would like to take see the car you can call me at 248-345-0732. I have an offer for $2000 already without him even driving the car.
