Sounds pretty good, I've got a local shop that does awesome work and the price would probably be right in that ballpark as well, minus the torque plate since they don't have one for a 2.2.

I would imagine LRE's old shop knows their way around a 2.2 if it's still the same people working there.

I wonder if they've got an extra 2.2 lying around, a local guy sent his GLH engine to LRE back in the day said it got lost. I'm looking to buy the engineless car now, and it would be cool to find the original engine.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Did they use ARP's on the rods? supply pistons?

Bill Lambros still has lots of parts. Just no time for cars. I think that's how Cindy got the springs.

I supplied the arps and Wiseco's

The owner is the same as years ago. We chuckled about "Married with Children" syndrome and how the auto passion declines during those years.

I just wanted to give Dependable a good word. Boost Virgin went through hell with another shop in St. Louis with an RT engine. They couldn't even turn a pressure plate correctly. AND the other shop I used THREW AWAY an engine with a forged crank a couple years ago!
