    R/T ECU Pinouts

I made a couple pages with the 91 and 92-93 ECU pinouts as well as a side-by-side comparison. I figured it was time to make some Dodge tech info to complement all my Saturn-related info on my site.

Very nice, I'll make this a sticky. Would you mind if we added a link to this in the Knowledge center Jeff?

No problem. I plan to expand that section of my website. Mostly about TIII info.

Added some info about the fault codes. No, it's not just another chart. I put some detailed information about each code as well as a description of each device it's referring to.

I converted my '92 R/T to a '91 computer about 1.5 years ago and the biggest problem I found was the cruise control! I had to run 2 extra wires because it goes from the mux setup to the on/off switch inputs. Everything else was cake.

I know it's been a long itme since this thread has been active, but since You said you did this not that long ago I was wondering what You did to not get a code 41 or 42. I have had the car running no problem but I always get either one of the codes. I haven't worried about cruise yet either...Just would like to get rid of the codes. I moved pin 17 Ignition Driver ('92 ) to pin 18(91). And it would appear that moving pin 57 (92) to pin 8 (91) would work for the ASD relay but not quite. It appears that something with the alternator feed being tied into that circuit there is an issue. Just curious if You might remember what You did.

Because it's much easier to find a '91 SBEC than a '92-'93 SBEC.

Opppsss I just saw this... You have to move the blue field wire from the Fuel pump/asd circuit to the ign *run* circuit. When the field goes away as the relay unlatches the code pops up... '92's have 2 relays so you will be basically be moving the wire off the one relay...
