1989 Daytona Shelby Digital Dash intermittant "Black out"

I just got my Shelby on the road and drove it for more than 10 min today. The digital dash blacked out after about 15min on the road. If I let it sit it comes back. Has anyone had this problem before? Could it be the cluster it self or a fuse link?

    Thanks,
    Bill

Fuses and fusible links don't act intermittent like that, once they're blown they're blown. I would look for a loose connector or suspect a component overheating or a bad solder joint within the display.

Was it originally a Digi dash? I had an 87 with a hacked in Digi dash, while driving it to it's new home the dash caught on fire!! I'd carefully check the wires
