I'm thinning down my fleet of vehicles and I'm going 100% Neon except my Caravan so here's my 89 GTC coupe.
I'm the second owner of the car and I rarely drove it. I believe it to have under 90,000 miles but who knows since the odometer is broken as most of those VDO clusters are. It's fully loaded with leather seats, power windows, locks, mirrors, driver's enthusiast seat, Infinity sound, power antenna, overhead console with compass and temp, 4 wheel vented disc brakes, automatic temperature control, a/c, automatic transaxle, and a very VERY healthy 2.5L Turbo engine. The power headlight doors are still working!
There are some issues however with the car. The clearcoat is pretty nasty looking and it would be very happy if you gave the car a nice paint job. There's a little... but barely ANY rust underneath in usual spots. There's no muffler on it but it's not terribly loud and it made the car run so much better so I view that as a plus. The front sway bar bushings are worn and the struts and shocks seem to be the original parts. Also, while the a/c does work well the mode does not... so it won't switch to defrost, vent, floor, and so on. It comes out from all the vents. I found out the vacuum line that runs from the brake booster to the inside is shot and needs to be bypassed or replaced. The radio is just an am/fm unit since that's the only spare one I had since the tape player that was in there was goofy. Other than that, it's a great car to shine up, fix a few little dumb things, and enjoy.
I have taken the car on a few long trips and needless to say it performs quite well without problems. This spring and summer (or would it be last now?) I let my fiancee drive the car to and from work and she had no issues with it either. She really liked how good the Infinity system rocked.
I have all the original warranty service documentation from the original owner, as well as the original window sticker which comes with the car.
Please note, the car comes with white 15" lace rims that need tires. The 16" rims that WERE on it were put on my SRT4 and that's where they stay. I personally didn't like the way they looked on the GTC but they look very VERY nice on the SRT4.
Anyway, as it sits now including a few extra parts that I have for it, I'm asking $1800 or best offer. This car is one of the few GTC coupes left and it's in very VERY nice shape. I just want it to go to someone who will enjoy it.
Edit in: I almost forgot, the car also does have a working 12 button Navigator that was rebuilt so all the buttons feel very nice on it.
